As part of Bath’s Pride In Our City fund-raising and fun-raising project, we are pleased to present our very own lion, proudly sponsored by the traders of The Market.
Designed by Eric Anderson, he is more correctly called King of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Jungle but we also like to call him The King.
Celebrating The King In Song
In order to help The King feel more at home, we have arranged for him to hear something familiar – some tunes from the original king of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Mr Elvis Presley.
We will be hosting an Elvis ‘impersonator’ throughout the day on Saturday 26th June and hope that it will be great fun for shoppers and The King alike.
